Volvo Penta Region Europe – The office EAST, seeks candidates for the department in Tribuswinkel: Marine engines Sales Engineer (located in Austria).

Volvo Penta is a very active provider of marine power systems for marine commercial and marine leisure applications all over the world. With a long tradition of innovative marine engineering we work closely with our customers to provide efficient propulsion and auxiliary power to final boat users. We are leading in delivering the most clean and fuel efficient engines in the marine segment in our power range.

Main areas of responsibility

• Develop and maximize marine engines sales over your business territory according to the decided sales strategy and in respect of the given pricing and profit prerequisites.
• Implement locally the decided sales strategy this including initial prospection and existing customer handling. With objective to grow market shares and penetration.
• Support customers in proper installation; give technical support to our customers.
• Support local Volvo Penta Centers in their own sales activities.
• Actively participate to all sales events, boat shows, fairs, road show, etc

Qualifications/ Profile:

• A university degree in mechanical engineering with confirmed knowledge in engine and transmission systems.
• Degree in business or management and/or confirmed experience in customer relation.
• A genuine personal interest in maritime world and in business.
• Subsequently you will need to be good at and enjoy building relations. It is vital that you are an open minded person with an interest in people.
• You must also benefit from a self-going personality and have the highest level of integrity, ready to frequent travel and work remotely.
• Fluent English & communicative German is the must, any Slavic language as extra is well welcome.
